St. Patrick's Day

We learned about the life of St. Patrick and how he used the clover to teach others about Jesus!
We made clover pinwheels to remind us of St. Patrick and to reinforce what we learned about force to make our pinwheels move.  We had a lot of fun blowing air to make them spin!

Experimenting with Force and Friction

We are observing and recording the distance an object travels when it is pushed with more or less force across different surfaces.

City Government Skits

We learned that the citizens make suggestions for what their city needs to the city council.  Then, the city council makes a decision and checks with the mayor for approval.  We performed skits to show this process.  It was fun being part of the city government!

Vocabulary Fun

We used play dough to learn about our vocabulary words!
It was fun to use it to show the meaning of the words!
